By accepting only a limited number of wedding and portrait assignments per year, Paul is able to give personal attention and time to each of his clients. This enables him to offer unique vision and one-of-a-kind creations.
Northville, MI native Paul Fialon photographed his first wedding in 1988 while living in Pittsburgh and has been photographing people ever since. In addition to weddings Paul was also a fashion photographer for several years while living in Chicago. Paul’s photography has been described as avant-garde, fine art, and photojournalistic fashion. An artist above all else, Paul loves what he does and is ever thankful to be able to do it for a living. Paul loves creating outstanding work for clients seeking something elegant, artistic and special. Paul has been a wedding photographer for clients nationwide and is a favorite in his field. Paul now lives in Leelanau County in Northern Michigan with his wife and two beautiful children. |

I understand that your wedding, one of the most important days of your life, is all about passion and love! The celebration of your love and new beginning together will be filled with beautiful and exquisite details, uniquely you – memories and details treasured for years to come. On your wedding day, I will visually record your love, laughter and all your important moments with all my skill while using the "tools" of my creative instincts and my camera. Other than with the romantic portraits and group photos, I will not stage images or work from a list. Instead, I strongly encourage you to ignore my camera allowing my many years of experience to direct my primary focus on capturing your moments as you spontaneously live them; capturing with skill each exciting detail…telling and illustrating your story with the pride and excellence of a signature of work…a perfect blend of photojournalistic style and traditional wedding portraiture. This approach to photography allows for your true personalities to unfold naturally and yields beautiful imagery filled with rich emotion! Emotion cannot be staged; it has to be allowed to just happen. The final result of my creative vision for you will come to life in a photographic narrative of your wedding; hand-created exclusively for you by me, that will timelessly capture your spontaneous moments, romantic moods, and your day’s beautiful details! My vision for your wedding experience also includes the creation of uniquely beautiful works of art from select images for display in your home Paul’s Business Practices and Schedule: I personally operate all aspects of my business myself on a full-time basis, and will only photograph one wedding per day and a limited number of weddings per year. I manage my wedding schedule in this manner so I can continue to offer you my personalized time, attention and the quality products that my reputation is built upon. Wanting nothing but the best for my clients, there are never any shortcuts taken with your images. All portraits are corrected for color and density by both me and my professional lab to yield richly beautiful works of art. I am available to meet with clients by appointment only. About Paul: I want you to know a little bit about who I am professionally: I think if I were to summarize my business philosophy in a singe sentence I would decide on the phrase; 'great photography is just the beginning...' It all starts, continues with, and results with impeccable personal and caring customer service. Capturing your wedding day is more than recording the events of the day as it is capturing your personality and emotion. I will be available to meet with you as many times as possible to help you plan your wedding day photography, and answer any questions you may have. I take a great deal of pride in my creative photographic vision. I am, also, very open to any suggestions you might have about images you would like me to capture with my camera on your wedding day. If there’s a painting that you love or a photograph from your grandparent’s wedding or even an advertisement from a bridal magazine that inspires you; show me and we can work together to re-create a similar image for you. Creative and imaginative photography is the foundation of which Paul Fialon Photography is based. Your wedding is unique; your portraits should reflect that! We’ll do the traditional portraits that are a beloved part of any wedding. We’ll also have a lot of fun creating exciting and distinctive portraits of you! Clients appreciate my easy character, artistic compositions, professionalism, responsiveness to their special requests and my ability to adapt to any given situation. Combining traditional photographic techniques and state-of-the-art technology, my enthusiasm and expertise keeps my work always on the cutting edge. I work in both a photojournalistic as well as in a traditional style, digitally capturing high-resolution images. This enables me to transform any Color picture to Black & White or Sepia Tone and to retouch and combine images-adding elements or filters. Great photography really is just the beginning! Your portraits can be artistically transformed in ways that weren’t conceivable a generation ago. My extensive experience in Photoshop marries traditional photography with technology enabling unlimited creativity with your portraits resulting in elegant, professional works of art!
